Welcome

I feel immensely privileged to be the Head of the Charter School North Dulwich Sixth Form. We believe that all our young people have the potential to achieve in school and succeed in life, and we ensure that students flourish here regardless of their starting points or circumstances.

Our Sixth Form inspires young people, and our hugely experienced teachers deliver the very best in teaching and learning. However, our students also inspire us - whether they are performing songs they have written themselves, volunteering as mentors for younger students, or playing for the football team, our students demonstrate passion, dedication and excellence that goes beyond their academic subjects and the classroom.

The Charter School North Dulwich is part of The Charter Schools Educational Trust. By working together with the new Charter East Dulwich Sixth Form, which opened in September 2021, there is the ongoing opportunity to further develop our expertise.

We have high expectations of our students, and expect them to have high expectations of themselves. The great majority of our Year 11 move into the Sixth Form and we warmly welcome about 60 students at this stage from other schools. Young people graduate from our Sixth Form as mature, responsible, resilient and flexible lifelong learners, happy and well equipped to thrive in the new knowledge-based economy, as well as to face the global challenges of the 21st century.

Our students:

-Aim to be the best they can be in everything they do

-Strive to exceed all expectations inside and outside the classroom

-Make no excuses

-Are ambitious for the future

I look forward to welcoming you to our Sixth Form.
