What students achieved in 2025

Students at The Charter School North Dulwich are celebrating a phenomenal year of academic achievement, with this Year 13 results placing the school once again among the top performing state schools in London. These achievements are a testament to the students’ dedication, resilience and commitment to their studies over the past two years, and the school is immensely proud of each and every one of them.

  • Headline achievements include:

    • 45% of A Level grades were A or A*

    • 78% of grades were A*–B

    • 85% of students taking vocational courses earned Merit to Distinction* grades

    • 70% of students achieved at least one A grade or equivalent

    • 25% of students achieved an A* or A in all subjects.

    • 46% of students attained AAB or equivalent

Vocational excellence:

BTEC students also shone brightly.

• 75% of Sports BTEC students achieved a Distinction or Merit

• 100% of Business BTEC students achieved a Distinction or Merit

Value added – how students progressed

  • Students make outstanding progress at The Charter School North Dulwich, achieving significantly above the national average.

  • Students make, on average, more than half a grade higher progress than is projected by their GCSE data.

Leavers' Destinations

Destinations and next steps:

This year, 80% of university applicants in Year 13 secured places at their first-choice institutions, including:

• Eight students gaining places at the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge

• Three students beginning medical degrees from our current Year 13, along with one further medic from our

2024 cohort.

• Seven students accepted onto highly competitive Art Foundation courses.

• Three students embarking on Degree Level Apprenticeships

• 70% of university-bound students will attend prestigious Russell Group or 1994 Group universities.
